Bali police are continuing to investigate drug busts on Wednesday, September 16, 2104 at methamphetamine and ecstasy factories on Jalan Buana Kubu in West Denpasar and at the Villa Lumbung in Kaliasem, Buleleng. In the course of the separate raids police confiscated almost 20 kilograms of precursors used in the production of methamphetamine.
As reported by DenPost, in addition to precursors, an unnamed source revealed that police also took possession of a blender, oven, hoses, funnels, jars, filters and tablet presses.
Four people have been arrested in connection with the raids: I Wayan Artawa also known as Tawok from Sidatapa, Buleleng; I Gusti Ngurah Surya whose address is listed as Jalan Buana Kubu Gang Asem, Denpasar; Komang Sudarmawan whose address is listed as Jalan Gunung Batok, Denpasar; and Dion Donisius of (Jalan Tukad Batanghari, Panjer. Police report that their investigations show the four are not part of the narcotics network of Novi Hendrik Indrawan from Malang who was arrested at a rooming house in Denpasar on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 with 19 kilograms of marijuana.
Police were able to make the raids on the methamphetamine and ecstasy factories based on information provided by the public who reported suspicious behavior in their neighborhoods. This lead to an arrest of a man on Jalan Buana Kubu Gang Asem in West Denpasar who provided information that led to the two narcotics production facilities. See more - balidiscovery.com
